DOUBLES CHAMPIONS! 

Congratulations to Jessica Del Valle and Brandon Butler for capturing the $2,000 Doubles Title at AMF Garden City on Saturday. Their winning score was an incredible 2,167. Finishing in 2nd was the team of Weldon Drayton Jr. & Don Owen with a 2,135 total worth $1,000. Rounding out the top 3 was the team of Vicente Pagan Jr. and Jose Perez with a team total of 2,120 worth $800.

 

The Singles Champion was Jessica Del Valle with a 1,200 four-game total worth $300. Finishing 2nd was Christina Schulze with a 1,089 worth $200. Rounding out the top 3 was Anthony Macchietto with a 1,073 worth $100. A total of 52 bowlers entered the optional singles which paid out a 14 position prize fund totaling $1,040 (100% returned.) It took a 992 series to cash in the optional singles.

 

The first handicap doubles event of the season drew a huge crowd of 132 teams and paid out a $10,910 prize fund to the top 23 teams. To cash in the doubles prize fund it took a 1,978 team total. The house shot produced some big scores including a 300 game from Weldon Drayton Jr., and a 299 by Christina Schulze. Congratulations to all of the cashers and thanks to everyone that participated at AMF Garden City.

 

The LIGBT’s next event is this coming Sunday, November 16th (noon & 2pm) at AMF Babylon. This will be Sport Shot Series #2 and feature the “Middle Road (39 feet)” pattern. Have a great week and we hope to see you soon at an LIGBT event.
