ROBERT LOVAGLIO WINS HIS FIRST LIGBT TITLE
The LIGBT held a special added event at South Levittown and a great crowd of 98 bowlers competed for the $800 guaranteed top prize. The final shootout featured 3 non-champions all looking for that elusive title. Robert Lovaglio, Seaford, NY bowled like a champion when he needed it. Robert needed a double in the tenth to win the tournament and he buried both for the title. Final score in the shootout was 248-239-194. Finishing second and taking home $400 was Scott Gray, E. Meadow, NY and third place went to Steven Williams, Bellrose, NY who earned $300. A total of 26 bowlers advanced to the finals and shared in a $3,600 prize fund. ... |
