210 & Under
Average & Bonus Pins Update
Here is how the handicap (90% of 210) and bonus pins are determined:
For bowlers that have a verifiable* incoming average:
- Your handicap is based on your verified average until you bowl 3 events.
- After 9 LIGBT games (210 & under event only) your handicap is determined by your tournament average and will change after each event.
- The LIGBT will be using a "20 pin drop rule" which means the lowest your average can drop for handicapping purposes is 20 pins less than your verified incoming average.
For bowlers without a verifiable* incoming average:
- Your handicap is based on your incoming average for the first event only.
- If after 3 games your tournament average is higher than your incoming average your handicap will be based on the higher average.
- If after 3 or 6 games your tournament average is lower than your incoming average your handicap will be based on the incoming average until you have 9 games bowled.
- After 9 games your handicap will be based on your tournament average but is capped using the "20 pin drop rule".
Bonus Pins:
- Every time you bowl & don't cash you receive 9 bonus pins at your next event.
- You keep on accumulating 9 extra bonus pins until you make the finals.
- Once you make the finals all of your bonus pins are taken away at your next event.
