LIGBT SEASON 4 FALL SUMMARY
December 31, 2011 — LIGBT Season 4 Fall Swing is now finished and after 8 events we have crowned 7 different champions. The only repeat champion this season is Super Senior bowler Glenn Simpson, who resides in Medford, NY, and won at East Islip Lanes and AMF Wantagh. A total of 97 different bowlers have cashed at least once in Season 4.
The best thing about the LIGBT is no one dominates and the statistics prove it. Despite the fact Glenn Simpson has won two events he is not the money leader. That distinction goes to Julio Arnold, Woodside, NY who has earned $1,600 in the 5 events. Julio has cashed in four of the five events he has competed in.
The most consistent cashers so far this season is Maniram Basdeo (Bronx, NY) and Eddie Eng (Flushing, NY) as both have cashed 5 times. Courtney Harris (New York, NY) is the only bowler that has cashed in every event he has bowled (4 for 4). In our first 8 events we already have 4 different bowlers that earned at least $1,000: Julio Arnold ($1,600), Glenn Simpson ($1,050), William Knoth ($1,000), and Courtney Harris ($1,000.)
Entries for the first 8 tournaments have increased almost 20% over last year. Despite the tough economy and beautiful weather the LIGBT constantly attracts more than 90 entries per event. Thanks for the great support and congratulations to everyone that has cashed. |
