GLENN BUCHANAN’S 1^ST TITLE

IS A MIRACLE!

Congratulations to Glenn Buchanan for winning your first LIGBT title at AMF Garden City on Friday night. Glenn, who a year-ago was lying in a hospital preparing for life-saving surgery, defeated Stephanie Pidala 257-243 to win the $1,000 top prize. While Stephanie earned $550 for 2^nd place, finishing in third was Juan Torres with a 232 worth $300. Rounding out the top 4 was Devon Johnson with a 210 earning him $250.

The Drop-Your-Low-Game tournament was a lot of fun as 15 bowlers cashed in the $3,660 prize fund. A total of 58 bowlers came out to compete in Sport Shot Series #8. It took a 724 to cash in the 49 & under division and 722 in the 50+ division. The side action generated an extra $2,430 bring the day’s total payout to $6,090.

The LIGBT returns on Sunday, May 19^th (1pm & 3pm) with Sport Shot Series #9 at AMF E. Meadow. Congratulations to all of the cashers and thanks to everyone that competed on Friday night at AMF Garden City. Happy Mother’s Day!
