In an effort to revitalize the scratch tournaments the LIGBT will lower the scratch entry fees to $65 for the first entry and $45 for the second entry. Bowlers can save an additional $5 off each entry if prepaid within 24 hours of the tournament.

All tournaments will mirror the handicap format; 2 squads of 3-games each with 1 in 5 per squad advancing to the finals. The squad leader of the first squad will be seeded directly into the shootout while the squad leader of the 2nd squad will earn a $50 bonus. There will be no divisions but if there are at least 5 seniors in a squad 1 in 5 will be guaranteed in the finals.

The prize funds will be based on entries to insure a balanced payout. All finalists are guaranteed to earn a minimum of $100. All finalists will bowl 1 game with the top 3 advancing to the shootout and joining the first squad leader. The top 50% of finalists that didn’t advance to the shootout will earn $150 while the bottom 50% will earn $100. Top prizes in the shootout will pay $500-$275-$225-$200 when total entries (with re-entries) exceeds 70 bowlers. Top prizes will grow as entries increase and will pay $800 with 120 total entries.
