Championships
THE SERIES CHAMPIONSHIPS
The richest events of the year for the LIGBT will be the two end-of-season series championships. The Sport Shot Series Championship will be hosted by AMF Garden City on the weekend of September 13th & 15th, 2024. The House Shot Championship will be hosted by AMF E. Meadow on the weekend of September 27th & 29th, 2024. All bowlers are welcomed to compete.
Each championship will have up to $4,000 in added prize money. All series hosts are rebating $5 per entry to the championship prize fund. Top prizes are projected to pay: $2,500-$1,500-$1,000.
The entry fee to each championship is based on the number of events you bowl in each series. The more tournaments you compete in the lower your championship entry fee:
$150 entry fee if you bowl in 0 events
$125 entry fee if you bowl in 1 or 2 events
$100 entry fee if you bowl in 3, 4, or 5 events
$80 entry fee if you bowl in 6 or 7 events
$80 entry fee + FREE BONUS EVENT if you bowl in 8 or more events
NOTE: ALL CHAMPIONSHIP RE-ENTRIES ARE $80 EACH FOR ALL BOWLERS! BOWLERS ENTERING BOTH SCRATCH & HANDICAP PAY $160 REGARDLESS THE # OF HOUSE SHOT SERIES EVENTS THEY COMPETED IN.

THE BONUS TOURNAMENT
The LIGBT wants to reward our most loyal members with a FREE tournament. All bowlers that compete in 8 or more events in a series will be invited to share in a $2,580 bonus prize fund at each championship. Here are how the bonus events work:
All bowlers competing in 8 or more events in a series, and bowl in the championship of that series, will shoot for the following extra guaranteed prizes:
1. $1,000 2. $500 3. $250 4. $150 5. $130 6. $120 7. $115 8. $110 9. $105 10. $100
These eligible bowlers will use their highest qualifying series in the championship to determine their final cashing position in the bonus tournament. You can only cash once in the bonus prize fund.
