TEAM UP TO WIN $2,000!

 

Congratulations to Suffolk County bowlers Jacob Klein and Joe Novara for winning the $2,000 top prize at LIGBT's Handicap Doubles tournament hosted by AMF E. Meadow. Jacob and Joe shot a 2,029 eight-game total to win by 8 pins over 2nd place finishers William Crosson and Jermaine Simmons who shot 2,021 and earned $1,100. Rounding out the top 3, and earning $900, was the team of Ferrill McNeil and Antoine Colley with a 2,020 total.

 

The optional singles event was won by William Crosson with a 1063 total worth $300. Finishing in 2nd place, with a 1041 series, was Ferrill McNeil earning $180. There was a tie for 3rd place at 1,025 by Jacob Klein and Eric Michalak each earning $120. It took a 975 series to cash in the singles side event.

 

The Saturday doubles event was one of the largest in LIGBT history. A total of 152 teams generated a $12,660 prize fund. The top 26 teams made money with 1,918 the cashing score. The tournament was competed on the modified house shot pattern Big Ben.

 

It was a big day at AMF E. Meadow. The total payout with side action was $18,740. There were 21 new bowlers competing in their first LIGBT event. Raffle winners were Samantha Galardi (Brunswick ball), Dennis Jackson (Turbo triple tote) and Zafar Alli (Turbo Triple tote.) 

 

Thanks to everyone that competed in our Saturday Doubles tournament and congratulations to all of the cashers. The LIGBT returns this coming Sunday, May 3rd for a 2-squad (noon & 2pm) sport shot event at AMF Garden City. Have a great week and we look forward to seeing you soon at an LIGBT event.
