HANDICAP SWEEPER

Congratulations to Maniram Basdeo for winning the $65 handicap sweeper held at Lucky Strike Mineola. Maniram took home the $600 top prize with a fine 764 handicap series. Finishing just 3 pins behind, with a 761, was another senior Mitch Benov earning $350. Rounding out the top 3 was Theo Sewell with a 754 worth $250.

The 10am sweeper attracted a nice field of 48 bowlers with 11 bowlers cashing in the $2,150 prize fund. It took a 708 series to finish in the money. High scratch series was shot by Darcy Monroe with a 680 3-game total.

Congratulations to all of the cashers and thanks to everyone that participated on Sunday at Lucky Strike Mineola. LIGBT returns this coming Sunday (Oct. 4th -noon start) for a handicap doubles tournament at AMF E. Meadow. Have a great week and we hope to see you soon at an LIGBT event.
