MAX THOMAS WINS

SPORT SHOT SERIES #10

The LIGBT visited AMF Babylon on Sunday for Sport Shot Series #10. Max Thomas conquered "the Chameleon" and won the $1,000 top prize by defeating Jim Lenihan 257-228 in the final shootout. While Jim earned $500 for 2nd, finishing in 3^rd was Richard Hill with a 225 worth $300. Rounding out the top 4 was Nick Falsetta with a 174 worth $250.

The PBA Chameleon proved challenging as cashing scores were low; 647 at noon and 664 at 2pm. The wildcard winner was Cameron Potts with a 1,307 six-game series. High game for the day was shot by Peyton Hughes with a 290! Bernadette Savary (662) was added to the finals to meet the women guarantee.

The AMF Babylon tournament drew 81 entries and paid out a $4,085 prize fund to 23 cashers. With side action, the day's total payout was $6,470. Congratulations to all of the cashers and thanks to everyone that participated at AMF Babylon on Sunday.

The LIGBT's next event is a Handicap Doubles tournament this coming Sunday, July 26^th (noon start) at AMF Wantagh. Registration is now open. Have a great week and we hope to see you soon at an LIGBT event.
