There was a youth movement on Sunday at AMF Wantagh. Matt Cummings, just 17 years old, won the handicap event with a fine 269 worth $1,000. Nick Falsetta, just 21 years old, won the scratch event with a 958 series worth $500.

 

The other top performers in House Shot Series #10 were 2nd place handicap finisher Michael Dixon with a 237 earning $550, 3rd place finisher Eddie Cintron with a 235 earning $350, and 4th place finisher Maggie Joseph with a 218 earning $250. Finishing in 2nd place in scratch was Chris Modugno with an 896 worth $250 and 3rd place went to Weldon Drayton Jr. with an 890 series worth $150.

 

The summer house shot event at Wantagh drew 82 entries, paid out a prize fund of $4,885 to 20 different cashers. The side action added another $2,630 bringing the day’s total payout to $7,515. Congratulations to all of the cashers and thanks to everyone that participated at AMF Wantagh. Up next for the LIGBT is a Ultimate Handicap Doubles tournament this coming Sunday, July 28th at AMF E.
