LIGBT CHAMPIONSHIPS CROWN 7 TITLE HOLDERS!
It was a great weekend at AMF E. Meadow as the LIGBT ran the 1st annual LIGBT Championships. A total of 3 events + an All-Events bonus were offered. The singles champion was Curtis Hetmeyer earning $1,000 with an 819 series. The winners of the doubles event were the team of Chondite Faison and Kevin Myree with a 1,626 total worth $2,000. The team champions, earning $1,800, was the team of Charlie Rembert, Andre McDuffie, Jaleesa Taylor and Terrence Taylor with a 3,118 total.
Five bowlers earned Storm balls as All-Events winners (highest 9-game total): Charlie Rembert, Colin Nosworthy, Kevin Myree, Arvin Ong, and Valerie Delillo. Nicholas Ng shot the only 300 game of the weekend. Scoring on the house shot was good as it took a 766 to cash in singles, 1,520 to cash in doubles, and 2,998 to cash in the team event.
The LIGBT Championships attracted a wonderful crowd of 210 total entries and paid out $21,255 over the 2-days. Sixty-one bowlers cashed in the 4 events. Thanks to everyone that participated at AMF E. Meadow this weekend and congratulations to all of the cashers.
