HER FIRST LIGBT TITLE

 

Congratulations to Melissa Grund for winning your first LIGBT title on Sunday at AMF Garden City. Melissa won the $1,000 top prize by defeating Cameron Potts 252-250 in a wild finish. While Cameron earned $625 for 2nd, finishing in 3^rd, and earning $400, was Tim Lau with a 219. Rounding out the top 5 was 4^th place finisher Calvin Nottingham with a 195 earning $350, and 5^th place finisher Jake Lau (Tim's son) with a 191 earning a $300 SMART scholarship. 

 

The "Route 66" pattern created cashing scores of 655 at noon and 680 at 2pm. The wildcard winner was Tim Lau with a 1,331 six-game series. High series of the tournament was shot by youth bowler Raiden Yu with a 785 series in the noon squad. One woman and 4 super seniors advanced to the finals.

 

Sport Shot Series #9 attracted a wonderful turnout of 126 entries and paid out a $6,150 prize fund to 33 cashers. With the side-action, total payout was $9,355. Congratulations to all of the cashers and thanks for the incredible turnout. Have a great week!
