DOUBLES CHAMPIONS!

 

Congratulations to Craig Dralle & Ricky Santiago for winning the $2,000 top prize at LIGBT's Handicap Doubles tournament hosted by AMF E. Meadow. Craig and Ricky earned their first LIGBT titles with a 1,918 eight-game total that was 48 pins more than 2^nd place finishers Utrice Coleman and Calvin Nottingham who shot 1,870 and earned $1,000. There was a tie for 3^rd place at 1,854; Anthony Willams & Rich Motta matched pinfall with Jadon Pineda and Oscarlin Poveriea with each team earning $550. 

 

The optional singles event was won by Max Thomas with a 986 total worth $250. Finishing in 2^nd place, with a 978 series, was James Aprile earning $150. Rounding out the top 3 was Ricky Santiago with a 966 total worth $115. It took a 906 series to cash in the optional singles event that paid out an $825 prize fund.

 

The Saturday doubles event attracted 100 bowlers generating 69 teams. Total doubles prize fund payout was $6,150. The top 12 teams cashed with a cut score of 1,818. The tournament was competed on the modified house shot pattern "Main Street" creating a moderate scoring environment. 

 

Saturday's event created a total payout with side action of $10,070 with 34 bowlers cashing. There were 11 new bowlers competing in their first LIGBT event. Raffle winners were Barry Forbes Jr. (Brunswick ball) and Joe Granata (Turbo Triple tote.) 

 

Thanks to everyone that competed in our Saturday Doubles tournament and congratulations to all of the cashers. The LIGBT returns July 4th Weekend for a 2-day House Shot Major (Friday, July 3rd & Sunday, July 5th) at AMF Garden City. Pre-registration is now open!
