WIN THEIR FIRST LIGBT TITLES
The pins were flying at Levittown Lanes on Sunday as high scores dominated House Shot Series #7. The winner of the handicap event was Juan Torres earning the $1,000 top prize by defeating Carmine Solomita 274-271. While Carmine earned $500 for 2nd, finishing in third, just 2 pins behind Carmine, was Stephanie Pidala with a 269 worth $300. Rounding out the top 4 was Karen Carpinelli with a 241 worth $250.
Jonathan Saloman dominated the scratch event with an incredible 1091 series averaging 272 for the day! Jonathan earned $500 for the scratch title. Finishing in 2nd was Weldon Drayton Jr. with a 992 series worth $250. Rounding out the top 3 in scratch was Andrew Mienkiewicz with a 955 worth $150.
The Levittown tournament drew a crowd of 73 entries, paid out a $4,535 prize fund to 19 different cashers. There were 2 perfect games bowled on Sunday: Karen Carpinelli and Jonathan Saloman. Congratulations to all of the cashers and raffle winners and thanks to everyone that competed at Levittown Lanes.
