Wantagh, NY: The LIGBT, sponsored by Storm, ran its third Trio’s Handicap Challenge at AMF Wantagh. The winning team, with a 4-game total of 3,237 worth $3,000, was Barry Forbes Jr., Brooklyn, NY, Renee Trotman, Brooklyn, NY and Mike Whittaker, Queens NY. Finishing in 2nd place with a 3,178 total, and earning $1,500, was the team of Cquashaun Grantham, Woodhaven, NY, Terrence Taylor, Flushing, NY and Twone Williams, Laurelton, NY.

The Wantagh house shot produced some very fine scores. Finishing in third place with a 3,168 worth $750 was Andre and Darryl McDuffie and Charlie Rembert, all from Floral Park, NY. Rounding out the top 4, earning $600 was the team of Leslie Farrell, Flushing, NY, Rich Hill, Brooklyn, NY and Monica McMillan, East Elmhurst, NY. The top 6 teams cashed (1 in 6) as it took a 3,100 total to get to the cashing window.   

The Trio’s prize fund paid out $6,600 and attracted a total of 34 teams. The side action paid out an additional $8,645 bringing the day’s total payout to $15,245. No perfect games were shot during the event. Fourteen new members joined the LIGBT at AMF Wantagh.  

LIGBT’s next event is a sport shot singles tournament at Herrill Lanes on Sunday, April 24th (1pm & 3pm.) Top prizes are guaranteed to pay, regardless of entries, $1,000-$500-$300-$250. The LIGBT is sponsored by Storm, Kegel, Knockout Ball Cleaner, Torch Bowling, Billvee Electric, Vietri Associates, and ManyStylesOfBowling.com.
