Plainview, NY: Utrice Coleman, Deer Park, NY earned $1,000 and her first LIGBT trophy at AMF Plainview on Sunday. Despite the fact this was Utrice’s first final shootout, she bowled with confidence and dominated with a 283 handicap game. Finishing second, and earning $500 with a 241 handicap game, was John Saputo, Centereach, NY. Third place went to Tommy Grunwald, Astoria, NY who earned $300 with a 232.

In the final shootout Utrice took immediate control with a triple and never had an open frame in the title match. Despite the fact Utrice was getting the most handicap she defeated the other two bowlers scratch! The real competition was for second place and once John marked in the tenth he secured his highest finish ever in an LIGBT tournament.
